Mission Statement

Westminster Presbyterian Church in Rehoboth Beach is a welcoming community with “room for all.”  We are a people of varied life experiences and spiritual gifts and we are bound together in seeking God through Christ. With the help of the Holy Spirit, we are dedicated to celebrating God’s love, nurturing individual growth, sharing our faith, and ministering to the needs of others.

Our History

Westminster Presbyterian Church was charter on November 1, 1931.  The church building was dedicated July 10, 1932.  An expansion of the sanctuary was done in 1956 by adding transepts which gave the structure a cruciform shape.  In 2010 a new entry way with elevator was built giving the church its present neoclassical facade.  God has continually blessed this "little chapel by the sea" and we are thankful.
